Personal Information: Jina grew up in a third world country, brought up with the myth of the United States being a dream world, a world of freedom, success, and opportunities. She grew up being taught at school that this was a dream she could not have, an unreachable life she could not ever be part of. Contrary to the myth, and with the support of her parents, at the age of eighteen, Jina was the first person in her high school to be accepted at several colleges in the United States. She packed a suitcase and headed towards the dream with little money and no family or friends to join her in her adventure. Jina never forgot where she came from. Not only does she visit her family in Bulgaria every year, but she also stays very active in supporting non-profit Bulgarian organizations which provide homeless children with food, medicine, clothes, shoes, and school supplies through coordination with the Government Center for Social Integration and the Red Cross. Jina speaks fluent Bulgarian and Russian; she has rudimentary skills in French and Spanish. She loves to travel and try different food. She enjoys biking, skiing, swimming, hiking, hunting and she loves animals, especially her two dogs. She is currently taking golf lessons, and expects nothing but perfection and challenge in her future golf game.

“I love living life the smart way! As much as patience may be a virtue in all of life, it is even more so in trying to be at least a step ahead.” ~ VVK

Favorite Quote: “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the Really Great make you feel that you, too, can become Great!” – Mark Twain
